Trump called off the greatly expected Trump-Kim summit by an official letter sent to the North Korean leader. It would be the first-ever meeting between US and N. Korea at the level of Heads of State.
During US – S. Korea meeting Trump expressed his concerns over the scheduled meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. If this summit finally takes place, it will be the first ever between US and N. Korea. The President of S. Korea visited Washington to act as an intermediary for the successful execution of the Singapore summit.
Seoul intends to act as an intermediary between Washington and Pyongyang, following North Korea’s warnings to suspend the planned summit with the USA.This meeting is scheduled for the 12th of June, in Singapore. President of South Korea will visit White House on May 22 to discuss further with the US President.
